Purple Gusto 

Medium heat

The Purple Gusto chilli is a compact F1 hybrid pepper plant that produces numerous medium-heat fruits, approximately 6-7 cm long, which mature from green to deep purple and finally to rich red. Its colourful, ornamental fruits have a medium Scoville heat rating of around 20,000–30,000 SHU, making them a good choice for pots, patios, and small gardens.  

Fried Chicken

 It is a hybrid pepper created by crossing a Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion (JPGS) with a BBG7 Orange.As a "super hot" variety, it is not for the faint of heart, making it well-suited for hot sauces and chili powders.

The plant is known for being productive, growing large, gnarly pods with a pointed tail that ripen from green to orange. The peppers can range from mild (like Tien Tsin chiles, around 50,000-75,000 SHU) to extremely hot.

 

 

7 Pot Primo

Super hot

The 7 Pot Primo has a Scoville heat rating of around 1.4 to 1.5 million SHU (Scoville Heat Units), with some sources listing it as high as 1.9 million SHU, making it a very hot super-hot chili pepper. Developed by Troy Primeaux, it is a cross between a Trinidad 7 Pot and a Naga Morich, and is known for its signature long stinger tail. 

Red Hot Joker

The Chilli Joker, also known as Hot Joker, is a versatile and ornamental chilli pepper known for its slender, tapering fruits that mature from white to a fiery red. It offers a medium-hot, sweet-spicy flavor suitable for raw consumption in salads and salsas or for use in dried sauces. The plant is compact, growing to about 30-60 cm tall, making it excellent for pots, patios, windowsills, and sheltered garden sites.  

The Tangerine Dream

Mild heat

A mild, sweet, ornamental pepper that grows on compact, 45cm (18-inch) plants and produces shiny, orange-red, cone-shaped fruit about 8cm (3 inches) long. Ideal for stuffing, pickling, salads, and cooking, it offers a satisfying sweetness with a very slight hint of heat. For best results, it needs a sunny, sheltered spot, such as a greenhouse, and consistent moisture and feeding once flowering begins.  

Purple Pumpkin

A remarkable variant of the Purple Bhut Jolokia, underwent a spontaneous genetic transformation, resulting in its distinctive traits. Renowned for its vibrant hues and pumpkin-shaped pods, this chilli plant has captivated growers for 8 years. Its unique colour progression, from light green to blotchy purple and finally to bright red, coupled with its bushy growth and prolific pod production, renders it a stunning addition to any garden.

The Fire Cracker

chilli plant (often Capsicum annuum 'Firecracker') is a compact, ornamental variety known for its clusters of small, brightly colored, conical fruits that mature from pale purple and white to yellow, orange, and finally red. These versatile chillies offer a hot flavour with fruity undertones, a Scoville rating of up to 50,000 SHU, and are suitable for growing in pots or sunny windowsills, making them ideal for small spaces. 

The Mini Meanie

Hot heat

Is a Habanero-type chilli that is characterized by its compact plant size (around 30-50cm tall) and a mean heat level, ranging from approximately 150,000 to 200,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHUs). The small, Habanero-like fruits ripen from green to a bright yellow, and the variety offers a citrusy, fruity flavour in addition to its significant heat. It can be grown as a windowsill plant or in a larger pot, requires medium watering and light, and is well-suited for container growing due to its small stature.  

Cha Cha!

Medium hot

The Cha Cha chilli plant is a very hot, attractive, and productive Capsicum annuum variety known for its compact size and prolific yellow, upward-facing pods. These fruits are crisp, can be eaten raw in salads or salsa, or dried for curries and sauces. The plant is easy to grow, and its vibrant, ornamental appearance makes it suitable for pots and balconies.  

Santa Fe Grande

Mild heat

The Santa Fe Grande is a productive, early-cropping chili pepper with medium heat (around 5,000 SHUs), similar to a Jalapeno, that grows on bushy plants reaching 50-80cm. The conical, thick-fleshed fruits ripen from pale yellow to orange and finally red, and are versatile for cooking, stuffing, salsa, or grilling. This American cultivar, also known as "Caribe" or "Guero", thrives in sunny conditions and is suitable for pots. 

Trinidad scorpion

Super hot

The Trinidad Moruga scorpion is a chili pepper native to the village of Moruga, Trinidad and Tobago. In 2012, New Mexico State University's Chile Pepper Institute identified the Trinidad Moruga scorpion as the hottest chili pepper at that time, with heat of 1.2 million Scoville heat units.

Habanero Orange

Hot heat

The Habanero Orange is a hot chilli pepper variety of the Capsicum chinense species, growing to about 70-80cm tall and producing wrinkled, lantern-shaped fruits that ripen from green to orange. These plants are known for being productive, flourishing in containers, and are ideal for use in Caribbean and West African cuisines due to their fruity, sweet-spicy flavor. The fruits are very hot, with a Scoville rating of 100,000 to 350,000 SHU.
